Honda RC51, Just add the open road

I went on a small vacation yesterday. It took about 2 hours and It was great. I took the Honda RC51 for a relaxing ride from Richmond, VA to Bowling Green, VA. It was all back country. Not a lot of twists and the roads were in perfect condition. Here is a look at the map. About 5 miles north of Mechanicsville it was all woods on both sides. In this trip you will drive past Mattaponi Springs Golf Course, a beautiful semi private golf course. I have had the pleasure of playing there twice myself and just loved it.

The motorcycle for the trip was a Honda RC51, V-Twin 996 cc. Its a thoroughbred race bike but it behaves well in low revs. I had the front tire changed end of last season at Richmond Superbike. I had also had  my suspensions tuned there and I have to say it feels like a new motorcycle. It feel lighter and easier to handle. Those of you who know the RC51 know it has great handling, now it just feels like its on rails.  Here a few pictures of the RC51.
